In an unexpected turn, singer Briela Cirilo announced her return to the renowned cumbia group Corazón Serrano, just a month after having resigned from the Guerrero brothers group to join ‘La Bella Luz’, led by businessman Oscar Custodio.

The news of Briela Cirilo’s return to Corazón Serrano was announced during a live broadcast with the leader of the orchestra, Edwin Guerrero Neyra. The young artist, 27 years old, expressed her desire to return to the group to which she belonged for several years. “No one is perfect, I hope for the public’s understanding, it doesn’t turn out the way we would like,” Cirilo clarified to La República during the broadcast.
It should be remembered that Briela Cirilo surprised her followers a few weeks ago by announcing her departure from Corazón Serrano, without specifying the reasons. Later, she joined ‘La Bella Luz’, also known for the famous song ‘Sed de amor’. The singer even returned the 11 thousand soles received as her first payment in ‘La Bella Luz’, hinting at her intention to return to her former companions.
Businessman Oscar Custodio, owner of La Bella Luz, expressed his disappointment and shame about the situation. “I feel a lot of shame and shame for others… I want you to know how far you go for the ambition to support yourself, to continue earning a lot of money… What just happened is very regrettable and shameful with Miss Briela Cirilo and the gentlemen of Corazón Serrano who attack us again in the same way,” said Custodio.
Custodio also shared that Cirilo had recently recorded on ‘El Reventonazo de la Chola’ and that she had initially been invited to a broadcast, but eventually reported that she was in poor health. However, according to Custodio, the singer later confirmed that she would no longer be part of the group and she would return to the ranks of Corazón Serrano.
