Bucaramanga continues its important streak in the Betplay League. The leopard team defeated Envigado at the Alfonso López stadium 3-1 and went 11 games without seeing defeat. The local goals were from Joider Micolta, Fabián Sambueza and Estefano Arango while the discount was from Luis Ángel Díaz.
In the first half, Bucaramanga went ahead on the scoreboard before twenty minutes of play. Joider Micolta and Daniel Mosquera recovered in the rival field and there Micolta hit a right shot into the top corner to make it 1-0.
However, Envigado reacted quickly and tied the game in a play that began with a lofted pass from William Hurtado to Luis Ángel Díaz that went to the goal and scored through the legs of Aldair Quintana.
Half an hour into the game, Bucaramanga went ahead again thanks to Fabián Sambueza who, after a filtered pass from Fabry Castro, scored at the near post from the edge of the area.
At 39′, the visitors had the opportunity to equalize with Bayron Garcés, who was given the ball after an error at the start of the Leopardos and there he finished with his left foot, but Quintana was barely able to save the ball with his fingertips.
Already in the second half, Bucaramanga almost put the third on its account with Mosquera who received a great cross from Sambueza on the right and hit a header at the near post that barely went from one side of the Envigade goal.
After several minutes without chances, Envigado reached the opposite goal at 75′ in a play full of rebounds that ended up in the hands of goalkeeper Quintana. Ten minutes later, the visit went uphill as Geindry Cuervo was sent off.
In the end, Bucaramanga closed the match with Estefano Arango, who was enabled by Misael Martínez and the attacker scored in a great way to beat goalkeeper Joan Parra.
With this victory, Bucaramanga is the new third in the tournament with 23 points and is three behind the leader Tolima while Envigado is 14th with 14 points.
