At 1.19am earthquake of magnitude ML 3.1 with epicenter in Certaldo, Florence, distinctly felt by the population. The earthquake was localized by the INGV-Rome Seismic Room at a depth of 10 kilometers.
During the night, Mayor Giacomo Cucini reassured his fellow citizens with a post on social media: “A 3.1 magnitude earthquake was felt a few minutes ago with its epicenter in our municipality which was also felt in several nearby municipalities. We have no reports of critical issues”.
