Died businessman who went into space with William Shatner

Glen de Vries, the entrepreneur who flew into space aboard Blue Origin with William Shatner, Captain Kirk of Star Trek, last October 13, died in a plane crash. The small aircraft on which the 49-year-old was aboard crashed in New Jersey. “We are devastated to learn of Glen de Vries’ death. He brought a lot of energy to the Blue Origin team. His passion for aviation and charity will be remembered and admired,” says Blue Origin.
