Indonesian national team defender Elkan Baggott has officially joined Bristol Rovers on loan from Ipswich Town until the end of the season. Bristol Rovers is a club that plays in the League One competition or the third caste of the English League
Baggott’s recruitment via loan has been announced on the official Bristol Rovers website. Ipswich Town itself, as the club that owns Baggott, plays in the Championship Division or the second caste of the English League.
“The club is pleased to announce that Elkan Baggott has joined on loan from Ipswich Town until the end of the season,” wrote Bristol Rovers, Friday (2/2).

Currently in the 2023/2024 League One competition, Bristol Rovers is ranked 11th by collecting 37 points from 28 matches.
Bristol Rovers are 13 points behind Oxford United who are sixth in the standings, or the deadline for teams taking part in the promotion playoffs to the Championship Division next season.
While defending Ipswich Town this season, Baggott was used more often in matches such as the English League Cup. Baggott’s loan to Bristol Rovers is expected to increase his playing time on the field.
At the 2023 Asian Cup which took place in Qatar, Baggott also defended the Indonesian national team which made history by qualifying for the round of 16 before being defeated by Australia 0-4.
