PARIS – Protests explode in the night after the government’s decision to bypass parliament to approve the pension reform. Clashes and tensions in various French cities, from Nantes to Toulouse, with images of President Emmanuel Macron burned in the square. Over three hundred demonstrators stopped throughout France, of which 258 in Paris alone where until late at night thousands of people occupied place de la Concorde.
