Gazprom cuts Nord Stream 1, the price of gas soars
Everything can be said except that it is a surprise. Vladimir Putin himself told us that Russian gas supplies could collapse again. And what now goes on stage is precisely the script described by the head of the Kremlin: the turbine returned from Canada has not yet returned to its place, another must be removed for repairs and so from the early hours of Wednesday 27 the flow in the Nord Stream will drop to just 33 million cubic meters per day, 20% of capacity.
