On Sunday, January 28, the death of national actress Jesús Morales, remembered for her work in “Risas y salsa” and “Risas de América”, was announced at the age of 99. After her death was confirmed, many artists sent their condolences to her family, among them, the television host Gisela Valcárcel.
Through her official Instagram account, the popular presenter of “The Great Show” published an unpublished photograph next to the actress, to whom she dedicated emotional words in her publication.
“All of us who knew you recognized in you a great actress and a wonderful human being. Today I want to thank God for putting me on your path, for the many teachings you gave me, for welcoming me into your home when I was a young woman eager to belong to the artistic world. “You know how much I respect you and love you… those things never end, and people like you will always be there in my heart, you are in mine, thank you for so much Jesus,” Gisela wrote.
“This photo shows just one of the nice moments in my life, when you were able to come to my house and let me brag next to mom. Rest, my great Jesús Morales. PS: I know you won’t read this, but I also know that while I was writing, you and I were together, I know,” he added in his emotional post.
As you remember, Jesús Morales studied Education, with a specialty in Spanish and literature, but he only practiced that profession for four years, and then began a career as a radio soap opera actress. Then, she worked in plays and came to television, where she acted in different soap operas.
But Jesús Morales will be remembered by different generations thanks to his brilliant performances in funny parodies of comedy programs such as Risas y salsa and Risas de América.
Among her most remembered characters are ‘Doña Cañona’, ‘Doña Epidemia’ and the mother of the ‘Familia Defectos’. Jesús Morales was a highly respected artist among his colleagues.
