Although he had already received a strong comment from the Colombian actress, Corleonoe once again spoke out on the matter. On this occasion, Griselda Blanco’s son assured that the Netflix installment showed her mother physically “ugly”, adding that she was always an elegant and very good-looking woman.

“My mother was a beautiful woman. The fact that they call her ugly, she offends me. “People see her mugshots of her and they get upset because of that, but when you read my book, you will see that my mother was called ‘the porcelain doll’ in her youth,” Michael told the British newspaper Daily Mail.

According to Corleone’s statements, her mother’s beauty was praised by several of the most powerful men she encountered in her life. They highlight mayors, governors and politicians from different countries who “tried to seduce my mother, even here in the United States, she was the crème de la crème.”

In his attempt to once again discredit the production in which Sofía Vergara participates as executive producer, the son of the so-called Black Widow of the mafia, assured that the Barranquilla work team was disrespectful. “Finally, they developed the Griselda project on their own for commercial gain, without key details from the Blanco family. “If my mother was alive, they wouldn’t have gotten away with this,” he concluded.

To which she added, laughing, that “Griselda is ‘Yoya’, my aunt.” But this was not the only thing she said, because she described her relative as a confident woman, with that spark that characterizes the Vergaras and those born in Barranquilla.

“When you play certain roles, you often get inspiration from other people, in this case I did it with my aunt. Of course, she is not as tawdry, nor as scandalous as the one I play in the series,” she concluded.
