On the second day of the Hamburg Port Anniversary, the band Scooter, among others, will be performing on a floating stage at the Landungsbrücken. There will also be a large fireworks display. NDR will broadcast live from 8:15 p.m. – on NDR television and on this page.
Today the harbor festival continues with some highlights. Given the good weather forecast, the organizers are expecting a busy crowd on the second day too. The main crowd pullers are likely to be the tall ships “Alexander von Humboldt II” and “Dar Mlodziezy”, which can be viewed at the jetties.
Floating stage at the Landungsbrücken

In the evening there will be a big fireworks display in the harbor from 9.35 p.m. At the same time, the band Scooter will be performing live on a floating pontoon stage – a real novelty, says port captain Simon Rosenkranz: “It’s really going to be a big production. Land and water will merge in this place, a very beautiful thing.”
The show on the floating stage, which has the motto “Elbe in Concert”, starts at 8.45 p.m. In addition to Scooter, the leisure men’s choir Goldkehlchen and musical actors from Stage Entertainment will perform on the water. There will also be a foretaste of the new play “& Julia”, which will premiere in Hamburg in the fall. Large screens broadcast the stage program. You can watch from both the landing stages and the Elbe slope.

Extensive program
The harbor birthday had already attracted many people to the jetties on Thursday. The highlight was the traditional entry parade. A total of several hundred thousand guests are expected in Hamburg by Sunday. You can experience a lot at the harbor festival again this year – there is an extensive program for the approximately four kilometer long promenade on the Elbe. NDR Hamburg is the media partner of the stage in front of the Old Elbe Tunnel. NDR 90.3 presenter Philipp von Kageneck presents the program “At the Landungsbrücken Open Air” on stage.
Guests can also board the ships
A total of around 250 ships are taking part in the 835th Hamburg Port Anniversary. Many of them can be visited. For example, the deep-sea tug “Elbe” is moored at the jetties. A shuttle to the “Peking” also leaves here. Visitors can also take a look into the engine rooms at the Überseebrücke, in the Hafencity, in the harbor museum, in the Hansahafen and in the Övelgönne museum harbor. Traveling by subway and S-Bahn is recommended
Since many streets between the fish auction hall and the Elbphilharmonie are closed, visitors should travel by subway and S-Bahn. The Hamburg transport association is expanding its offering during the day and also at night. However, there are restrictions on the Elbe ferries.
