JERUSALEM – Fifteen years. So much had passed since the last visit of a Turkish foreign minister to Israel. This is why the arrival of Mevlüt Cavusoglu represents a symbol of the revival between relations between two countries that have long been close but whose relations have deeply deteriorated in the 2000s under the government of Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Cavusoglu’s visit is part of the wake of other important moves in the context of the reset between Jerusalem and Ankara.
