The Earth’s Aurora Belt is located in an area with a distance of 10° to 20° from the magnetic poles of the earth in longitude and an area with a width of about 3° to 6° in latitude. When a local magnetic storm occurs, aurora will also appear at lower latitudes.
In Europe, forecasts indicate that if the weather permits, the aurora may be seen from the sky over Norway, Sweden and Finland, and even people as far away as Scotland and St. Petersburg in Russia are expected to see it.
Similar to the situation in the United States, as far south as Dublin, Ireland and Hamburg, Germany, people may see the northern lights on the horizon.

Forecasts indicate that from Melbourne in Australia to Christchurch in New Zealand, the southern aurora may appear on the horizon.
