“I feel protected”: Maduro ordered Sukhoi fighters to guard his plane to Celac (Video)

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro orders Venezuelan Aviation to escort his plane to the eighth Celac summit in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

In a show of military strength and solidarity, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro ordered a group of Sukhoi Su-30 MK2 fighters to guard his plane as it landed in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines for the eighth Celac summit. The Sukhoi Su-30 MK2 fighters, made in Russia, were pictured accompanying Maduro’s plane as it made its way to the Caribbean island.

Images shared on Maduro’s social media showed him entering the cockpit of the plane to address the Sukhoi pilots via radio. “Convey to our brave patriots, revolutionary pilots of the Sukhoi, and the entire Venezuelan Air Force, our Bolivarian Military Aviation, my greetings,” Maduro said in the recording. He expressed his pride in the pilots who defend the airspace and homeland of Venezuela.

Maduro declared that he would bring the voice of the Venezuelan people to the Celac summit, representing the creation of the liberating army of America. He emphasized the importance of the pilots’ role in the defense of their country and expressed gratitude for their dedication.

The Venezuelan president’s decision to have Sukhoi Su-30 MK2 fighters guard his plane reflects the country’s commitment to protecting its leaders and asserting its military capabilities on the international stage.
