Unión Magdalena could not keep the three points in its home debut in 2024, and tied 1-1 with Llaneros FC on the second date of the BetPlay Tournament.
The ‘Ciclón Bananero’, led by Álvaro Hernández, took the lead on the scoreboard in the 12th minute, through defender Juan Ocampo.
Ocampo received a beautiful pass from Guillermo Tegüé after a cross and from the edge of the area he unleashed a shot that slipped into the left corner of the visiting goalkeeper, who remained static before the power of the shot.
The team controlled Llaneros FC, however, entering the final stages of the match, at 74′, Jorge Mosquera took advantage of the fact that Tegüé could not clear a ball and chipped the ball over goalkeeper Cristian Baldovino, thus marking the final 1-1.
After this draw at home, Unión Magdalena, which now has four points on its board, will now prepare to face Orsomarso, next Friday, February 16, at 3:30 pm
