This victory not only erased the bad record of not winning for 19 years in Hanoi. However, this positive result also means that Indonesia’s position in the FIFA rankings will increase again.

Based on the Footy Rankings upload on the X account, Indonesia is predicted to rise in the latest ranking after the victory in Hanoi.

Previously, when they won the first meeting with a score of 1-0 at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, it was estimated that the Indonesian National Team would also experience an increase in ranking.

This means that the Indonesian National Team will experience a jump in ranking from the previous FIFA ranking which was released on February 15.

The Indonesian national team currently occupies 142nd position in the world. With two consecutive wins over Vietnam, Ragnar Oratmangoen and friends are expected to rise to 135th in the world ranking with 1102.7 points.

Meanwhile, two consecutive defeats from the Red and White Team meant that Vietnam’s position was predicted to decline. The Golden Star will drop from 105th to 115th in the world rankings.
