Based on CNBC Indonesia’s monitoring until this news was released, the hashtag #instagramdown dominated the trending topic X. More than 89,400 tweets were collected with this hashtag.
Not only Instagram, many netizens complained that Facebook was also down. A total of 144,000 tweets reported this on X.
For your information, Instagram and Facebook are both services under Meta.
Not only in Indonesia, the Meta platform is also down in other countries. Many netizens from abroad reported similar problems.
