[ワシントン／カイロ ２０日 ロイター] – Iran’s Foreign Minister Abdollahian said in an interview with US NBC that his country is investigating the attack on the 19th, and that there is currently no proven link to Israel.
The drone took off from inside Iran and was shot down after flying several hundred meters. “It looked more like a child’s toy than a drone,” he said.
“There is no proven link to Israel,” he said, noting that the attack is currently under investigation but that media reports are inaccurate.
According to Iranian media and government officials, three drones were seen in the skies above Isfahan in central Iran in the early hours of the 19th, and air defense systems were activated and attacked the drones, resulting in multiple explosions. It said the attack was not carried out by Israel but by “infiltrators”.
Foreign Minister Abdullahian warned that if Israel moves to retaliate and acts against Iran’s interests, Iran will respond quickly and with maximum force. On the other hand, he said, “If that doesn’t happen, this is the end. The conclusion has been reached.”
