The film Judy is based on the real life of American artist and singer, Judy Garland. This film stars Renée Zellweger, Jessie Buckley, Finn Wittrock, Rufus Sewell, and is the last film starring Michael Gambon before his death in 2023.

In the 1930s, 16-year-old actress Judy Garland was told something by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer studio head Louis B. Mayer.

On the set of The Wizard of Oz, Judy received praise that she had gifts that other girls did not have. His singing talent is almost unmatched.
She was able to surpass Shirley Temple’s success as a Hollywood child star. As her career begins, Judy is forced by cruel studio guards to consume amphetamines. He was even denied permission to sleep due to his busy schedule.
In response to Judy’s criticism, Mayer explained that she was exhausted by her working hours. But Mayer uses emotional and physical intimidation to keep him in line.
In her forties, Judy was performing with Lorna and Joey, her two children from her marriage to Sidney Luft, her third husband. They tried to check into a hotel, but were turned away due to non-payment by her husband. Judy was forced to return to Sidney and they divorced.
At a party, Judy meets nightclub owner Mickey Deans, and they become friends. In 1968, he was told by his agent from England, that the country would host the next show.
During performances there, Judy’s drug abuse prevented her from performing well. She was late to the premiere in London and an assistant was called in to check her health and touch up her make-up.
