Atlético Junior continues with a firm step in the BetPlay I-2024 League, as it remains the sole leader (13 points) after the 2-0 victory against Deportivo Pasto, this Thursday at the Metropolitan Stadium in Barranquilla, in a match on date 5.
The shark continues to be a forceful team in attack, and that helps while some defensive and coordination details in the midfield are improved. However, coach Arturo Reyes must be clear that there are things to improve, and that one thing is against mid-table teams, like the Nariñense team, to face the title candidates.
But he who wins is he who enjoys, and Junior did his job: win at home and remain undefeated after five days.
Pasto was a combative team, a fighter in its field and that tried to be dynamic. In Junior, there are very high individual levels, such as Gabriel Fuentes, a great left back; and Yimmi Chará, who continues to show hierarchy in the last meters.
