Marcell Jacobs returns to Jacksonville and runs the 100 meters in 10:11: watch the video of the race

Marcell Jacobs stopped the clock at 10.11 seconds in his first race of 2024 in Jacksonville, Florida. The Italian, back in competition 230 days after his last official outing (10 September 2023 in Zagreb) is still looking for a pass for the Paris Olympics. Jacobs was beaten by three thousandths by Canadian Andre De Grasse, who finished with the same time of 10.11. Third place for the American Trayvon Bromell (10.14) who preceded the Chinese Xie Zhenye (10.14). The Japanese Hakim Sani Brown closes the Top 5 (10.15).
