Meeting in Moscow between the head of the CIA and the head of all Russian services

The director of the CIA, William Burns, and the secretary of the Russian Security Council, Nikolai Patrushev, met in Moscow: the Russian Security Council reports. “The parties have discussed Russian-American relations,” reads the official Russian press release. This is Burns’ first visit to Moscow as CIA director. He had already met Patrushev in 2013 in Washington when he was deputy secretary of state.
