Migrants rejected at the Serbian border forced to return to Macedonia without clothes, in freezing temperatures

The NGO ā€˜Legisā€™ denounces the barbaric methods of rejection at the border between the two countries

Videos of men walking in single file and without clothes, with temperatures close to zero, are currently circulating on the web and on social platforms; these are migrants forced to return on foot from Serbia to North Macedonia. The complaint came from the NGO Legis ā€“ active in North Macedonia ā€“ as reported by the Guardian. The video was apparently shot around February 10th by an inhabitant of Lojane, a village near the Serbian border. According to the NGOā€™s complaint, around 50 people would have suffered the same fate as the men shown in the video. The president of the NGO, Jasmin Redjepi, told the Guardian that the pushbacks occurred shortly after a summit on border cooperation between the EU and Serbia.
