On January 17, Mina Kostić allegedly filed a criminal complaint with the police against her partner with whom she had been in an emotional relationship for a year and a half, and the MUP came to the premises visibly upset and shaken, local media reports.
The Second Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office confirmed that on January 17, singer Mina Kostić reported harassment, but the prosecutor on duty made a decision that there are no elements of a criminal offense in this case to continue the investigation. As further reported by domestic media, the music star’s ex-boyfriend allegedly sent insulting, threatening messages and made jealous sceneswhich is why she had to react and seek protection from the competent authorities.
“Mina and Nikola had a harmonious relationship for a while. However, she went through hell in recent months. She put up with jealous scenes, drama, squealing, yelling and yelling. However, the final straw and she went to the police last Sunday and reported him. She did not want to suffer any kind of violence. He sent her inappropriate messages, there were various situations, but she couldn’t tolerate anything anymore. She tried to explain to him in a nice way that it was best for them not to be together anymore, but the more fair and correct she was towards him, the more aggressive he was. She didn’t want to suffer and remain silent, so she went to the MUP in Voždovac and filed a report,” the source said.
On the other hand, as stated, Nikola was questioned by the police, and he went to the state institution with his mother. On that occasion, he presented his side of the story and explained his relationship with the singer.
On this occasion, Mina spoke up and confirmed that she was in the police, and that there was friction in their relationship, but that no physical confrontation took place.
