On January 16, a Greek-owned merchant ship was hit by a missile off the coast of the Yemen. This was reported by the British maritime safety company Ambrey. “A Greek-owned, Maltese-flagged cargo ship was targeted and hit by a missile while transiting the southern Red Sea heading north,” Ambrey said. Pictures published and released on January 19th document the event, showing videos and CCTV footage of the moment in which the Houthi attack hit the Zografia, a Greek-owned, Malta-flagged bulk carrier transiting the southern Red Sea in a northerly direction.
