Immediately before the kick-off of the Serie A top game between Napoli and Juventus (2:1) there was a strange scene with Napoli boss Aurelio de Laurentiis on Sunday evening.
The 74-year-old was extremely annoyed by a camera crew that accompanied him in the catacombs on the way to his seat. De Laurentiis assumed that the official broadcaster “DAZN” was following him and his employees. But that wasn’t the case: in fact, it was an internal camera crew from Napoli that closely followed the club president. Napoli’s press chief Guido Baldari clarified the situation afterwards.
But De Laurentiis remained annoyed and later even told DAZN that his players and coaches would no longer give interviews immediately after the end of the game. He strictly rejects TV cameras in the catacombs.
