Otokar Italia has supplied a fleet of ten short touring buses to the operator Trotta Bus Services, intended for rental services with driver. This is the first delivery of touring buses by Otokar to the Trotta group.
The buses in question are Navigo T models with a length of 7.8 meters, belonging to Class III. These vehicles are ideal for services with small groups or in more challenging geographical areas and will operate mainly in central Italy.
The 7.8 meter Otokar Navigo T purchased by the Trotta group can accommodate up to 31 passengers on reclining and expandable Sege seats, with an attractive design in a red and black combination. They are equipped with individual amenities and USB sockets, as well as a monitor connected to a DVD player or USB sticks. Further enhancing passenger comfort, there is a cockpit refrigerator located near the rear door. Under the hood, these buses are powered by a 4.5-liter, 210-horsepower Euro VI four-cylinder diesel engine paired with a six-speed Allison automatic transmission.
With the addition of these ten Navigo T buses, the Trotta Bus Services fleet, which numbers around 300 buses, sees a significant expansion of its fleet intended for travel for small groups. The operator, with around 400 employees, is active in the public transport, school bus, long-distance and rental sectors. It offers public transport services in Rome and Fiumicino, manages public transport and school buses in Benevento and Ovada, in Piedmont. All maintenance activities are managed internally.
In addition to the main office in Rome, Trotta Bus Services also has an office in Predazzo, Trentino, where it manages ski bus and summer bus services.
