OTOKAR The renewed version of the electric intercity and urban e-bus for the first time at the Next Mobility Exhibition – Companies

More than 60 electric buses will be delivered between 2024 and 2025, contributing to the consolidation of Otokar Italia’s position in the national bus market.

In addition to these, the company also has a significant number of CNG vehicles in supply and expects to significantly increase sales compared to 2023. These commercial successes are accompanied by an expansion of its staff and service network in the territory.

The next Next Mobility Exhibition (NME) will represent an opportunity to showcase Otokar’s range of zero-emission vehicles and to establish official contacts with the Italian market through the new company directly controlled by the Turkish group.

This presence will be characterized by important innovations, including the presentation in Milan of the new 12-metre e-Kent C electric bus, with a renewed layout and battery capacity. Furthermore, during the NME, the new zero-emission interurban bus e-Territo U will have its world premiere in Italy. Completing the range displayed at the fair will also be the e-Centro C electric minibus.

Meanwhile, from its establishment to today, Otokar has strengthened and expanded its presence in Italy, winning some important tenders and qualifying, at the end of 2023, for the Consip tender for zero-emission buses. Otokar confirms itself as leader in the midibus segment under ten meters in length and over 8 tonnes in weight. The company is focusing its investments on autonomous driving technologies, with the e-Centro C minibus already developed in a driverless version, and on electric and hydrogen traction.
