Watch Rosenborg – Bodø/Glimt on TV 2 Play from 17:30!
Before Saturday’s big game, TV 2 has compared the two midfield jewels in Rosenborg and Bodø/Glimt.

TV 2’s football expert Yaw Amankwah is asked who he would have preferred out of Ole Selnæs and Patrick Berg.
– I would probably say the best is Berg, but Selnæs has a passing foot that Berg envies.
– Does he do it?
– I will not be enticed to answer that, Selnæs replies firmly.
– And Berg is elected ahead of you?
– That’s perfectly fine with me.
The Envy quote is also presented in Bodø:
– Selnæs has a nice foot, but we think Patrick does too, says Glimt’s assistant coach Gaute Helstrup.
– Selnæs is perhaps mainly a playmaker who is very good when he gets the ball at his feet and has the game in front of him. Patrick probably has even more frequency in the defensive work, the coach considers.

– It will just be wrong
Selnæs is asked to compare himself to the Norse:
– I don’t think I should do that. I haven’t seen Bodø/Glimt this year either. It will just be wrong in every way. I’m not a player who only thinks about security all the time, space but also in the back room. That is probably my analysis of myself, says the Trønder.
Amankwah describes both as leadership figures, but:
– Selnæs has more temperament and he is probably much better when he is angry, says the football expert.
– As long as it doesn’t tip over, maybe I will, yes. I can agree that I may need an extra glow. I’m probably a bit pissed at my best, says the RBK profile.
Teammate Erlend Dahl Reitan supports the description.
– When Ole gets angry, he is very good. When he gets really angry, he’s not very good. Up to the point where it crashes, it’s fine.
As a former Glimt player, Reitan also knows Patrick Berg well.
– There are two fantastically good players who can be compared, but they really can’t. They are different, says the defender.
Selnæs crushes Berg in the number of passes in the opponent’s box, with 35 against 5.
– I like to play forward. Here I am allowed and encouraged to do so. It suits me very well, says RBK’s midfielder.

– Sometimes we tend to turn this into an individual question, but it is probably the style of play that is the primary reason for the numbers, says Alfred Johansson.
The RBK boss does not get carried away by the duel.
– I actually thought about that for absolutely zero seconds. We are very happy that we have Ole. It is in many ways our leading figure in the team, in the dressing room and on the field, says the RBK coach.

– This suggests that they are used slightly differently. Patrick is mostly the one who initiates attacks that end in the 16-metre area, says Helstrup.
Horror statistics
Amankwah has noted the following:
– Berg controls Glimt’s game and makes sure that nothing slips out, while Selnæs is far more direct, even though he is also much better at duels than many think.
Although Bodø/Glimt have only won three games at Lerkendal since 1977, Kjetil Knutsen’s men are considered by many to be favourites.
At the same time, RBK has had a brilliant start with nine points in four games. Only Glimt has a better scoring average so far.
– It is Johansson’s first real test. You don’t get tougher resistance than this. If RBK were to win the match, I think the most enthusiastic supporters are ready to build a statue, says Amankwah.
