Persik Kediri must recognize Persis Solo’s superiority in the 25th week of Liga 1 2023/2024. The White Tigers lost to the home team with a narrow score of 2-1.
The Persis vs Persik duel took place at Manahan Stadium, Solo, Saturday (24/2). The match was led by referee Aprisman Aranda.
Persik immediately threatened when the game had only been running for two minutes. Flavio Silva’s individual actions failed to be anticipated by the Persis defense line. Unfortunately, Flavio’s shot only went narrowly wide of the left side of Gianluca Pandeynuwu’s goal.

Goal! Persis managed to take the lead in the eighth minute. Althaf Indie was able to put his name on the scoreboard after firing a hard low shot at the near post, which Dikri Yusron failed to reach. Score 1-0 for Persis.
Persik managed to equalize in the 25th minute. Flavio Silva tore Gianluca Pandeynuwu’s goal net after taking advantage of a wild ball in the penalty box. Score equal 1-1.
Flavio Silva gets another chance. Starting from Renan Silva’s corner kick, Flavio Silva’s header narrowly sideways from the right side of Persis’ goal.
In the 38th minute, chaos created in the Persis penalty box. However, Anderson Nascimento failed to take advantage of this opportunity. The ball was swept by Rian Miziar and resulted in a corner kick for Persik.

Persik continued to try to equalize. However, Bayu Otto et al still seemed to be having difficulty dismantling the Persis defense line. So the score did not change until the 70th minute.
Exactly got two golden opportunities in the 80th minute. But Sananta and Althaf’s kicks were saved by Dikri Yusron.
Persik was unable to score a goal in the second half. Final score 2-1 for Persis to win.
