Red Bull Bragantino hosted São Bernardo on the lawn of the Nabi Abi Chedid Stadium, in Bragança Paulista, in a game valid for the 7th round of the 2024 Campeonato Paulista, on the night of this Saturday, 10, and drew 1-1. Léo Ortiz scored the goal for Braga, while Silvinho scored the goal for the ABC club.

THE GAME

The visitors started to surprise right from the beginning, but it didn’t take long for the home team to balance things out. Having more of the ball under their control, Massa Bruta started to attack more and had their best moment of the match with a free kick from Lucas Evangelista that hit the crossbar.

On the other side, Bernô bet on quick counterattacks, but they didn’t pose much danger to the goal saved by Cleiton.

In the second half, Braga continued to dictate the pace of the game and at the beginning, they opened the scoring through Léo Ortiz, but the goal was invalidated after a VAR review. Afterwards, Bragantino’s number 3 rose higher than the mark in a corner kick and made a solid shot into the back of the net in the 11th minute.

Without much time to celebrate, the ABC club equaled the score with a goal from Silvinho, who took a free kick in the half-moon and also had a collaboration with Massa Bruta’s goalkeeper.

During the match, both teams went on the attack to win the victory, but ended up having serious difficulties creating offensive plays and scaring the opponent. With that, the 1-1 remained until the final whistle.

NEXT ROUND

Red Bull Bragantino returns to the field at 9:30 pm this Wednesday, 14th, when they will face Ponte Preta, once again at Nabizão.
