The plane on which Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez was traveling yesterday had a technical failure and had to return to the Torrejón de Ardoz base. The Spanish media reported it. The leader was headed to Jerez de la Frontera, Andalusia, aboard a Spanish Air Force Falcon.
While it was flying over Castilla-La Mancha, a technical problem, not of great importance according to government sources, meant that the safety protocol was applied and the plane returned to its base near Madrid.

Sanchez and his family then took another flight and arrived in Jerez. From there they went to the Palacio de las Marismillas, in the Doñana National Park, a place usually used by government leaders to spend a few days of rest. The leader will resume his agenda on Monday with a trip to the Middle East during which he will stop in Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
