This crazy story began in 2022, when the Spanish TV program Socialité reported that Shakira had gone on a work trip and that, upon returning, she noticed that someone had eaten her favorite jelly. Therefore, her then husband did not like the food, which would be the icing on the cake for betrayal.
However, in a recent interview with The Times, Shakira declared: “That’s not true.” In fact, the famous singer also mentioned her ex-husband during the chat. This is because his new chapter in music will have Gerard Piqué as the main inspiration, breaking down the troubled end of the relationship between the two.

The album title also reveals a ‘taste’ of how the tracks will be constructed. “Las mujeres ya no lloran” (“Women no longer cry”, in literal translation), makes a reference to Shakira BZRP Music Sessions 53, where she sings “Women no longer cry, women make money”.

Furthermore, Shakira has already released some songs about the former football player. Titled “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53,” the Grammy-winning song contains lines like “I’ve become too big for you,” “With you, I’m not coming back,” and “I realized it’s not my fault they criticize you, I just make songs.”
In her speech at the awards ceremony, she declared: “What happiness! I want to dedicate this award to my children, Milan and Sasha, because I promised them that I will be happy. I promised them that they will have a mommy who will laugh with all their laughter, because they deserve it.”
“So, right now, I’m thinking about what’s to come, the songs I’m going to write, the tours I’m about to do, the audience I’m going to share this with. Because, as a friend said, there is nothing in the past, we only remember the future”, she added.
