This Monday, January 29, an explosion was recorded in the afternoon inside the Pepsico factory, on Bolognesi Avenue, very close to the Santa Anita Mall, located in this Lima district. Agents of the National Police and fire and ambulance units approached the scene to respond to the emergency.
According to the first reports, the explosion occurred in a waste water tank of the aforementioned company, where potatoes were washed, which caused vehicles to be dragged by the force of the water.
At the moment, no injuries or fatalities have been reported, but a person who was trapped was able to be rescued and taken to a nearby health center.
The images show the damage caused by the blast wave, as well as the collapse of a part of the factory.
