The results of sequencing the whole genome of the confirmed case by the Ningbo Center for Disease Control and Prevention showed that the epidemic virus was a Delta mutant strain. The sequence comparison showed that the epidemic virus is highly homologous to the viruses reported in many cases outside the province recently.
