In addition, the earthquake also led to the destruction of more than 52,000 houses and damage to approximately 77,000 houses.

Currently, international aid materials have arrived in Haiti one after another. Due to damage to roads and bridges and safety reasons, some areas are facing difficulties in the supply of food, water and medical supplies.

Haitian Prime Minister Henry said on the 20th that about 700,000 people in the country need humanitarian assistance, and the post-earthquake reconstruction challenges are huge.
