The Jewish world on the eve of the New Year

The Jewish world is preparing to celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. In Italy, Judaism is the oldest religion because it has existed in the peninsula continuously for over 2,200 years. Rosh Hashanah has been celebrated by Jews in Rome since the time of Augustus and Nero, always on exactly the same date, established according to the Jewish calendar, on which until today Jews celebrate this solemn holiday all over the world.
