Tottenham Hotspur destroyed at headquarters Fulham on matchday 29 Premier League. The Lilywhites were ‘cocked’ by the hosts for three goals without reply!

Fulham vs Tottenham presented at Craven Cottage, Sunday (17/3/2024) early morning WIB. The home team took a 1-0 lead in the first half through Rodrigo Muniz’s goal.

The Cottagers increased their lead in the second half via goals from Sasa Lukic and Muniz. A score of 3-0 for Fulham was the final result of the match.

With this result, Tottenham failed to climb into the top four Premier League standings and stuck in fifth place with 53 points. Fulham did not move in 12th position with 38 points.

The Course of the Match

Fulham got the first chance in the 12th minute. Sasa Lukic’s attempt towards goal was saved by Tottenham goalkeeper, Guglielmo Vicario.

Tottenham turned threatening in the 25th minute. Son Heung-min’s shot in the penalty box still flew over the bar.

James Maddison almost put Tottenham ahead three minutes later. His low ball glided narrowly next to Fulham’s goal.

GOL! Fulham broke the deadlock in the 42nd minute. Rodrigo Muniz listed his name on the scoreboard.

Muniz received a cross from Antonee Robinson, controlled the ball and kicked it into the goal. Fulham led 1-0 until the first half ended.

GOL! Fulham doubled their lead four minutes into the second half. This time it was Sasa Lukic’s turn to shake Tottenham’s goal.

Lukic grabbed Timothy Castagne’s cross from the right. Fulham lead 2-0.

BRACE! Muniz scored his second goal against Tottenham in the 61st minute. The Fulham bomber pushed in Calvin Bassey’s shot which hit the goalpost.

Fulham broke into Tottenham’s goal again four minutes later through Palhinha’s shot. However, the goal was disallowed because Raul Jimenez was in an offside position during the goal.

Tottenham brought in Timo Werner to add breakthrough power. The German striker actually wasted a golden opportunity in the 69th minute when his tap-in ball in front of goal missed.

The home team almost scored a fourth goal in the 90th minute. Harry Wilson’s shot on target was pushed over by Vicario. The score 3-0 for Fulham lasted until the final whistle sounded.
