Tension rises during the tractor siege in Brussels. Especially in the streets leading to and alongside the European Parliament. Long queues of tractors crowd the streets: traffic is completely blocked.
«To enter the European Parliament there is an impressive queue and half of the entrances are closed. There is police everywhere, the streets are all blocked and on the esplanade (the space in front) there are officers with water cannons” writes Francesca Donato, member of the European Parliament, President of the National Council of Christian Democracy in X.
