A train derailed near Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bavaria. The German media reports of several injuries. Police reported at least three deaths. The train bound for Munich went off the rails for reasons yet to be determined, said a police spokesman, Stefan Sonntag, who added that a “vast operation” is underway to free passengers still stuck in the derailed wagons.
