TRANSPORT STRIKE January 23rd and 24th in the spotlight: taxis, planes and local public transport at risk – Current affairs

The next 23 and 24 January will be difficult days for public transport users, due to the announced strikes. Specifically, a taxi strike is scheduled for the 23rd in Rome: the Taxi base union has proclaimed the suspension of activities for 24 hours. At the same time, it appears that local public transport in Umbria will also stop, as announced by the Osr Filt-Cigl/Faisa-Cisal unions.

A much more complicated day will be that of January 24th, when all local public transport in Italy will stop for 24 hours. The methods are entrusted to the individual territorial representations, while the unions involved are Osr Filt-Cgil/Faisa-Cisal, Cub Trasporti/Sgb/Cobas Lavoro Privato/Adl Cobas. But it doesn’t end here, because from 1pm to 5pm on January 24th there is agitation (proclaimed by Filt-Cgil and Uilt-Uil) also in the aviation sector, for Enav staff.
