At present, the value of US aid to Ukraine has exceeded 600 million US dollars.
On the evening of the 23rd, a plane carrying a second batch of US military aid arrived at Boryspil Airport in Ukraine. The first 90 tons of weapons arrived on January 22, including “lethal” weapons and ammunition for use on the front lines in the conflict zone in eastern Ukraine.
“On the 23rd, equipment worth $200 million arrived,” the U.S. official said during a telephone briefing. He also said: “We are willing to provide Ukraine with more assistance.”
