This 37 year old fighter has been UFC flyweight and bantamweight champion between 2018-2020.
Having retired in 2020, the owner of a 16-3 record returned to fight last year but lost to the bantamweight champion at that time, Aljamain Sterling.
If he loses again to Dvalishvili, the 2008 Olympic gold medalist in freestyle wrestling has stated that he will retire again.
At the start of the first round, Merab Dvalishvili tried several spinning kicks that didn’t work.
