UN, Brazilian minister Queiroga positive for Covid: he saw Johnson (without mask) and Guterres

by admin

Brazilian Health Minister Marcelo Queiroga tested positive for Covid during his trip to New York, following President Jair Bolsonaro, who spoke at the UN General Assembly.

This was reported by CNN, underlining that Queiroga met and shook the hands of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres. In the images also released by the Guardian, neither Johnson nor the Brazilian minister wear a mask. Queiroga would have been vaccinated with the Chinese CoronaVac vaccine, but it is unclear when. He will spend 14 days in quarantine in New York, CNN reports.
