US, innovation plan against China approved in the Senate

Two hundred and fifty billion dollars. This is the funding that the US Senate, in a rare bipartisan vote, has decided to invest to counter China’s growing technological, economic and military power. The law is called the United States Innovation and Competition Act and commits tens of billions of dollars (federal funds) to a wide range of innovative research areas.
