The city of Porto Nacional now has the Vehicle Fair focusing on the purchase and sale of new and used vehicles. Traders and individuals can sell cars and motorcycles at the site, which operates in the warehouse of the old bus station. The inauguration took place this Saturday, the 30th, promoted by the City Hall, through the Municipal Secretariat of Economic Development and Entrepreneurship, in partnership with the Municipal Secretariat of Agriculture and Production and the entity Amigos do Volante.
In addition to boosting vehicle sales in the city and region, the initiative also encourages other sectors, such as transport and food, as there is space for the sale of food and entertainment.

José Carlos Ferreira buys and resells cars and was present at the inauguration of the Feirão. “This Fair is very important for us, it improves the economy, attracts people from outside and inside the city, in addition to providing a safer transaction at the time of purchase”, said the merchant.
José Alves came from Nova Pinheirópolis to participate in the Feirão. “I found the idea very interesting, I found out about it on social media and came to check out the car offers. This is very good for the city because we don’t need to travel far when we need to buy or sell vehicles. This shows that Porto is being prioritized”, he declared.

The Secretary of Economic Development and Entrepreneurship, Thiago Paulino, highlighted that the management wants to make a difference in Porto Nacional, understanding that the city is the third largest economy in the State. The secretary recalled that Feirão is an old dream that is being put into practice. “We have great potential for growth and Feirão is another initiative that will add a lot to our city. We want to increase this movement in local commerce that goes beyond automobiles”, he added.
The representative of the entity Amigos do Volante, Alisson Oliveira, thanked the mayor and the secretariats for their support. “We have been fighting for this Fair for a long time and only under this administration were we able to hold it. Bring your car and your motorcycle and come do business”, he invited.
Mayor Ronivon Maciel reiterated his support for initiatives that contribute to the city’s growth. “Our role also involves supporting entities, events and ideas that bring benefits and contribute to the growth of our city. The Vehicle Fair will contribute to the movement of the economy”, he reinforced.
Entry and exhibition of vehicles at Feirão is free. The Vehicle Fair is expected to take place every Saturday, from 8am to 1pm.
