Visit to the Use of International Classes in the USU Environment

“International classrooms that are present in several faculties have been utilized for existing international activities, said WR I USU.”

USU Public Relations – Starting from the Faculty of Engineering (FT), Faculty of Agriculture (FP), Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Faculty of Law (FH), Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) to the Curriculum and Learning Innovation Institute (LINKUP) USU conducted a review of the use of international classrooms by Vice Chancellor I, Dr. Edy Ikhsan, SH, MA and Vice Chancellor V, Ir. Luhut Sihombing, MP, on Monday, (25/03/2024).

This review of the international classroom designed by USU is to respond to the vision of internationalization as embedded in USU’s tagline, namely Transformation Towards the Ultimate. A review of several faculties that had been visited was carried out to see the extent of the functionalization of the Internationalization room

For faculties that do not yet have internationalized classrooms because they do not meet the criteria, WR I USU, Dr. Edy Ikhsan, SH, MA, suggested that it be filled with regular classes that are selective in nature. Classrooms can also be used for international guests during visits. Many faculties have used these classrooms to support campus internationalization development activities.

“International classrooms that are present in several faculties have been used for existing international activities,” said WR I USU.

Deputy Chancellor V for Asset and Business Management, Ir. Luhut Sihombing, MP, said that all the facilities provided had been handed over so that they were in accordance with the plans that had been prepared. There are still several shortcomings so it needs to be prepared more carefully. The hope is that not only rooms are designated as internationalization classrooms, but all rooms at USU must approach and be able to be used in various internationalization activities.
