Zelensky inspects the front in the Donbass, just across the river from Severo Donetsk

Zelensky also visited Bakhmut, southwest of Donetsk, and talked with some soldiers, the presidential palace said in a statement.

The statement from the Ukrainian presidential palace also said that Zelensky had “acquainted himself with the combat situation on the front line” during his working visit.
Zelensky said he also visited the Zaporozhye region in the southeast, visiting Ukrainian residents evacuated from the port city of Mariupol.
