In an interview given to the Financial Times, Andrea Agnelli, the former president of Juventus, spoke about the capital gains case involving the Juventus team.
Agnelli maintained a firm position, stating that he had ‘a clear conscience’. Without going into the details of the legal case, he insisted that ‘everything we did, we did by the book’.
He did not neglect the Super League issue. Although Juventus has retracted its support for the project, the former president remains convinced of its validity. Agnelli said that ‘things don’t happen by magic’, suggesting that the project needs time to develop.
He also left open the possibility of his return to lead Juventus.
