Turnaround at Ascom in Pordenone: Pillon is the new provincial president

by admin

PORDENONE. Historic turning point at Ascom in the province of Pordenone. Fabio Pillon is the new provincial president and succeeds Alberto Marchiori, who had been in office since 1994.

In the assembly on Monday 22 November, Pillon obtained 31 of the 52 votes cast, overcoming the competition of Giovanna Santin, provincial president of hoteliers in western Friuli. On the occasion, the new executive council was also elected.

For Marchiori, who would have been vice president in the event of Santin’s victory, an era is closing. For Ascom, however, it is a new beginning.

Fabio Pillon, 62, is the owner of a toy shop in San Vito al Tagliamento. President of his mandate for Ascom Confcommercio, he is also president of Terziaria Cat srl and vice president of Ebitur and Ebtur Fvg. He is also on the executive board of the Pordenone-Udine Chamber of Commerce.

In the past he was president of the Pro loco di Cordovado and former municipal councilor of the same country.
