Habeck: ‘We hope leaders remain united on sanctions’

(ANSA) – BRUSSELS, MAY 29 – “After the start of the Russian aggression against Ukraine we have seen what can happen when Europe is united. We hope that unity will be shown at tomorrow’s summit. But it has already begun to crumble”. This was stated by the German Economy Minister, Robert Habeck, speaking to the local press on the eve of the extraordinary summit of EU leaders. (HANDLE).
